The design reflects river ripple patterns or crossed paddles, that speak to the history of the Waikato as a river of food, transport and recreation. It will give Hamiltonians the opportunity to reconnect with the generous river the city largely turned its back to during the modern era. We are pleased to have won and look forward to progressing this concept.
