Southern Cross Hospitals partnered with a group of orthopaedic surgeons in a joint venture to construct a state-of-the-art, day-stay hospital in Milford on Auckland’s North Shore.

Located adjacent to the award-winning TRG Imaging building, the new hospital and clinic specialises in performing keyhole orthopaedic operations, utilising the very latest surgical techniques and state-of-the art equipment to provide improved outcomes, reduced wait and recovery times for patients.
The completed facility features two dedicated theatres and was designed with provision for a third in the near future. A separate healthcare provider, Canopy Cancer Care, is situated on the first level, and a café on the ground floor.
Peddlethorp was the Lead Design Consultant and Project Architect from concept design through to construction observation, including provision of specialist medical fitout design services.
