SEASCAPE

Seascape will be a landmark on Auckland’s skyline. A redevelopment of a 2729sqm corner site fronting Customs Street East, it comprises a new 187m tower and integrates two existing buildings. The smaller tower has been redesigned as a new hotel and the heritage building on the corner of Gore Street will be retained.

Visualisation of Seascape Auckland when viewed from the northeast.

The main tower of 56 storeys will offer 221 high quality apartments – eleven floors of penthouses as well as a mix of studio, one, two three bedroom and three bedroom duplex apartments with double height balconies to maximise outdoor living space. All apartments are at least ten per cent larger than Auckland Council’s minimum standards and include high studs of approximately 2.7m.

Standing at 187 metres Seascape is set to be New Zealand’s tallest residential tower upon completion.

Every apartment is north-facing and has unencumbered views to Waitemata Harbour. At the base there will be two floors of retail and restaurants with public walkways providing access to the surrounding area. The sharp angle at the top of the tower has been designed to avoid shading Emily Place and to give the tower a striking form. When built, Seascape will be the tallest residential tower in Auckland City and one of a handful of towers with more than 50 storeys.
