A new four-level clinical facility houses Wellington’s first dedicated day-stay orthopaedic surgery clinic, supported by specialist consultation suites and an enhanced radiology centre. Upgrades to existing theatres, additional on-site parking, and wider campus improvements collectively create a more cohesive and efficient healthcare destination for patients, staff, and visitors.

Delivered within an established residential neighbourhood, the project required a careful architectural response to surrounding houses and planning constraints. A defining feature is the considered use of brick integrated within the curtainwall system. Referencing the historic Mount Cook brickworks that once stood nearby, this material strategy grounds the building in its local context while helping to soften the perceived scale of the facility.
